Well.ca is a large and complex business that operates as Canada's largest Health/Beauty site. The company was originally started by Ali Asaria and has since been bought out by McKesson Canada. The development of Well.ca has been passed on to Tulip Retail, Ali Asaria's current company. When I was working at Tulip Retail, I was primarily focused on developing the backend of the site. The backend of the site mostly consisted of warehousing software that manages and processes orders. With 3 million visitors each month, it was imperative we kept the website running 24/7 with 0 downtime.
